Before I knew it, I was back to working a great schedule, teaching the art of Balayage to other stylists & leading a growing salon.
All seemed to be going according to plan until another unexpected occurrence happened. A global pandemic. A lot of the same feelings from my accident came up, but I now knew how to navigate the unexpected a little better!
Being a hairstylist, business owner & wheelchair user all at once, during a quarantine, can get very overwhelming.
The worries and the unknown are often crippling to the soul.
I thankfully have some incredible gifts that never leave me: the talent that lays in my hands & a positive mindset to keep me going. 💞
On the worst days, I remind myself that the power of being true to who I am can't be taken away in any circumstance. I find that with a little bit of makeup, some good hair & a renewed spirit, I’m able to look in the mirror, be proud of being me, & never giving up, no matter what! 💓 #quarantineconfidence
It feels good to know that despite never knowing what life may bring you, you always have the choice to have a good attitude & make the best out of it!
By choosing positivity, self love, acceptance and sympathy, you will always come out on top.
Furthermore, as stylists we all possess the superpower of being able to give the gift of confidence to others & to ourselves, when we needed.... all in the tip of our fingers! 💖
